“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last, you create what you will.”
– George Bernard Shaw
About Cosmogoth Ink
Cosmogoth Ink aspires to foster a new age of media by inspiring and instructing new creators.
In an effort to solve the invasive ideological problems with media, we are gathering together to master the craft of storytelling and moving forward by showing aspiring creators the right way to create.
Our intentionally creative community filled with Lovers of Fiction are each forging their own path with two values in their core: authenticity and quality.
Dignity, Passion and a Love for the Craft motivate us all here at Castle Cosmogoth guiding us through education and kinship in pursuit of the command of our craft. We prioritize the experience of the audience over personal politics and opinions as a standard.
This community of originators is meant for lovers of stories and passionate creators whether they’ve realized their talents or those talents lie dormant.
“Creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones.”
– Bruce Garrabrandt
Here at Cosmogoth Ink we aspire to give the audience what they want - plainly and simply.
For years to come, we hope to introduce new and entertaining stories, foster a new age of literature, and establish our unique presence in fiction as a community of instructors and storytellers.
In our community we take a collaborative approach to education while reinforcing the originality of our own unique voices. Our lessons outline the process of storytelling from new and classical perspectives which will universally connect with audiences. All characters introduced will be done justice to the best of our ability and will be handled with respect.
In Castle Cosmogoth, the dedicated Cosmogoth Ink Discord server, we connect directly with each other in guided discussions as well as casual discourse all with the aim of connecting in our goal of mastering writing craft.
Support and Motivation
We speak freely about our personal writing struggles, and offer insight to resolve issues as we help each other learn our craft.
Inspire Ideas
By dissecting our favorite stories, we highlight the concepts that connect with the audience, and explore how we can implement them in our own writing.
Provoke Exploration of Hidden Talents
For those daring enough to take the chance, we encourage the act of graduation from consumer to creator. Through the collective pursuit of mastering our craft, we strive to recognize and nurture the talents we see in each other. If you have a keen understanding of media literacy and a critical eye, then you may find value from writing practice and critique.
Writing for Feedback
We make time to develop weaknesses as a group and as individuals. Weekly, we share our work with open minds who are there to help us identify and overcome our shortcomings in writing.
Writing Tips and Questions
From the standard to the unconventional, we seek to understand the core of storytelling as both creators and consumers. There is no forbidden question as we delve into writing concepts.
Creative Dialogue
We encourage and emphasize the practice of ideation and amicable debate of storytelling and media topics.
“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.”
– Henry David Thoreau
Kaine Walker
“Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought.” – Albert Einstein
My story starts from youth with the fascination with both the fantastic and unknown. With both modern mythology and that from the classical era, I was content simply existing in that world until what I knew before was being crumbled around me. I gave up the habit in participating in modern fiction to scrutinize it and ultimately make it better.
I suppose I’ve always loved the advent of creation and my youth was simply a period of studying the art. Now, met with what was essentially my entire identity being stolen and tarnished, I’m finally motivated to participate in a direct way. Instead of experiencing it, I would be facilitating it.
With a Shared vision...
Patient and informative, but honest. I will take you as far as you allow me, but remember, you get out of my instruction what you put into practice.
In a word: FORWARD.
I hope to expand this community into every artistic medium imaginable and create art that we can be proud of and celebrate again.
